"Africa Day 2017" took place on 24rd, 25rd, 26th, 27th and 28th May in Hamburg wandsbek markt. 

The Africa Day 2016 (May 28/29) ended on Sunday in Hamburg with a positive result. Over 10,000 visitors came to the two-day intercultural event on the Wandsbeker market square.

On 23, 24 and 25 May 2015, the African community will be celebrating the "Africa Day 2015" on Wandsbeker Marktplatz with a colorful stage program, hospitable pagoda tents and African market stalls.

On the program were African artists and bands like Nana Achampong, Thendiva & Renevision (Lion King) and the UB Live Band. Show, Dance, Gospel-Singers and Culture Performances were accompanied by an information program from stage interviews, workshops and panel discussions.
